- נִכְסִין, נִכְסֵיָּא, נִכְסֵי, נִי׳,ch. sam(נכסים account; property, business). Targ. Y. II Num. 32:1 (h. text מקנה) herds. Targ. Josh. 22:8 (h. text נכסים). Targ. Deut. 8:17 (h. text הַיִל); a. fr.B. Kam.93a (prov.) בתר מרא נ׳וכ׳ behind a man of wealth chips are dragged along, i. e. in the company of a wealthy man you have an opportunity of making money. Bekh.48a הא אשתעבד נ׳ Rashi (read: אשתעבוד; ed. אשתעבדן להו לנ׳) has not the estate been made responsible for the debt (before the fathers death)? Ib. מכדי נ׳ דברוכ׳ does not a persons property merely take the place of a guarantor? B. Bath.58a כל נִכְסַי לחד ברא all my property shall go to one son (of mine).
